The 2009 ASCE Southeastern Student
Conference will be conducted in and around Vanderbilt
University’s
campus, located in
Nashville,
Tennessee.
On Thursday evening and throughout
the day on Friday, students will be allowed to explore our
campus, a national arboretum, and experience the sights and
sounds of our beautiful and historical location.
Featheringill
Hall, one of a
handful of engineering facilities,
will be the location of many conference activities on
campus. On Thursday
evening, Registration, including a reception with refreshments,
will be held in the Featheringill Hall Atrium and the Captain’s
Meeting will be conducted in a classroom.
Throughout the day on Friday, the career fair will be
hosted in the Atrium.
Also, specific competitions will be held in classrooms
throughout this building and lunch will be served buffet-style
in a downstairs hallway.
The
Student Life Center
will be a central location for all campus activities during the
day on Friday. The
lawn adjacent to the
Student
Life Center
will be used for Canoe Display, and a patio nearby will be used
for the Canoe Swamp Test.
Some competitions will be inside the
Student
Life Center
as well.
